Set to take off on Sunday, 09 March 2014, the Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour – usually referred to as ‘the Argus’ – will once again see scores of cyclists from all over the globe gear up for the largest individually timed cycling event in the world. The annual race is hosted in Cape Town, South Africa, and is usually 109km long. The race is limited to 30,000 local (South African) entries which were quickly snapped up when entries opened on the 1st Sept 2013.
This year, Alexo Property Brokers in conjunction with Greyvensteins Attorneys and several other local companies are sponsoring cycling jerseys for 250 riders from the Race4Rhino conservation program. You can view more information about the amazing work that this initiative is doing at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Race4Conservation/311357762335234.
You can also get involved by donating to Race4Rhino through GivenGain at https://www.givengain.com/activist/66061/. Look out for their “rhino bike” at this year’s event!
